1926
Theodore E. Holden— affectionately known as “Thee”— was born and raised in Frankford and was one of the original Yellow Jackets from the 1899–1909 era. He took over as president for Shep Royle prior to the 1926 season but resigned a day after the championship, stating a desire to focus on his business, the Whitehall Textile Company. However, many believe his departure was due to his disagreement with the club’s decision to fire coach Guy Chamberlin.
