Halfback Charles “Charley” Rogers was an All-American from the University of Pennsylvania. His local ties made him one of the most popular players to ever wear a Yellow Jackets uniform. In 1927, he took over play-calling duties when coach Moran resigned. “The Camden Comet” later became head coach of the Delaware College football team.
